New Product Development: PalPrep - A Study Preparation App to Reduce Procrastination and Increase Focus
During my Digital Product Design class, we designed a new app for procrastinating students and employees:
• Led ideation, conducted thorough market research, and created detailed user personas to identify key pain points for the new digital product application aimed at students.
• Developed a comprehensive product requirements document (PRD) and market requirements document (MRD) in collaboration with cross-functional teams, including designers and developers, to create user stories and a minimum viable product (MVP).
• Conducted multiple rounds of user testing and feedback sessions to iterate and improve the product's design, usability, and functionality, resulting in a successful launch and positive user feedback.
• Key features of the app include breaking down long study materials into shorter, more manageable chunks, providing helpful summaries, creating study schedules and reminders, and offering tools to track progress and manage time more effectively.
• In addition, I oversaw ongoing product development, including adding new features and enhancements based on user feedback, and regularly presented product updates to stakeholders and management teams.
